Carnegie Coffee Company is a popular coffee spot and is about six miles from Pittsburgh International Airport and just four miles to downtown Pittsburgh.
Owned by Greg Romero and his wife, Ashley Comer, "Carnegie Coffee Company provides a cool space."
It certainly is a cool place to not only grab a cup of coffee but also to have breakfast and lunch, according to Romero.
Romero was a former pharmacist and ran a pharmacy in Carnegie for 24 years. When he saw that Carnegie did not have a coffee house, he and his wife opened one at the historical post office building in June 2013.
It has evolved into one of the most popular coffee houses in Pittsburgh and went on to be voted as the "best coffee shop" in 2022 by the Best of Pittsburgh City Paper.
The coffee shop's exquisite decor has created a warm, colorful and inviting vibe that makes you want to stay that extra hour for that extra cup just for the view.
The historic post office which had its origins in 1853 eventually closed in 2008. It became home to the Carnegie Coffee Company in June 2013. The new owners retained its postal features adding to the ambiance of the place.
There are peaceful and tastefully decorated private spots to chat with family, friends, or business associates - and sip your coffee. This one has a picturesque view.
In addition, you can find customers using the coffee house to charge their phones and work from their laptop, or lounge around to read.
